Wednesday – Another Goal Bites the Dust

Hey All!

I want to give Jack T a HUGE congrats for crossing off TWO goals on his goal list: a 375lb Back Squat and a 400lb Deadlift!!! Awesome work, Jack T!!!

The Goal Board, the Monthly PR Board, and the Cap City Strength Record Board are all opportunities to support each other, encourage each other, and celebrate all of our victories. If you haven’t written down some goals for the Goal Board, ask a Coach to help you brainstorm some. We have paper and pens behind the front desk.

Setting goals can help combat gym complacency, they help develop a strong sense of self-efficacy, and they keep you focused on all of your accomplishments, no matter how big or small.
